The Water Cycle Infographic
Using infographics in the classroom can make complex concepts more accessible and engaging for students. For instance:
- This infographic can be shown at the start of the water cycle unit, and refer back to it during discussions to help students visually connect new information as they learn each stage.
- It also can be used to explore cause-and-effect relationships within the water cycle. For example, asking students, “What happens to water when it evaporates?” or “What causes precipitation?”.
- Lastly, it can be used discuss real-life examples, such as local rainfall patterns, lakes, rivers, or bodies of water in their area. This contextualizes the water cycle, making it more relevant to their everyday lives.
